Fraud Rules Analysis

Fraud Rules Analysis

Engage Today

RPGC’s Fraud Rules Analysis assesses the extent to which your data is leveraged across all fraud mitigation processes to maximize approvals and lower actual losses and chargebacks. In essence, a chargeback is simply feedback indicating that a fraud problem has occurred and you didn’t catch it. Sometimes it stems from a fraud ring, sometimes there’s simply an incentive misalignment between departments that inadvertently leads to chargebacks. We will help you set up effective policies that reduce you as a target or minimize self-inflicted wounds, all while maintaining healthy approval ratios. Simply put, the purpose of this analysis is to proactively prevent disputes.

Our Process

To help ensure that your loss exposure is minimized, we start our analysis by reviewing your fraud decision-making models, tools, policies, use cases, partner agreements, and processes.

We review your existing documentation around processes, policies, and rules. If these aren’t well documented, that’s ok, you aren’t our first client that’s been there. After we review the available material and document your current processes, we identify your gaps and alternative tools/services you can use for enhanced data or logic. Where necessary, we make documentation for future management and provide recommendations to ensure models, processes and policies kept up to date.

Deliverables

Fraud prevention requires dynamic intervention, not just a final report (though we do provide that too!). If you’re contacting outside help to put out an emergency, you need someone who can dig into the data and find opportunities for actionable improvement. In a nutshell, that’s what we do: provide you with a checklist of recommended rule updates, policy recommendations, and solution types that can help you solve your problem ASAP.

We also offer periodic health-checks on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis.

WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY ABOUT US

I have 30 years of payment experience myself, so I frequently find that with other companies I end up training them.  RPGC is flexible and was able to change course quickly.  They have continued to answer inquiries and provide introductions well after the engagement was complete.  Positive experience overall.
